On September 24, 25 and 26, the Expobiomasa Fair 2019 was held in Valladolid (Spain), where 540 companies from 30 countries were concentrated. The event attracted more than 15,000 professional visitors in order to find the best solutions based on the renewable energy “biomass” as well as “biogas”.
The company INDEREN (Ingeniería y Desarrollos Renovables S.L.) participated in it, represented by Jesús Manuel Tagua González.
Throughout the days of the fair the following activities were carried out:
- Presentation of the article “Valorización integral de biorresiduos en el marco del proyecto ValueWaste” published in the RETEMA magazine
- Attendance at conferences on biodigestion and circular economy
- Exhibition of the ValueWaste project in several stands through the distribution of RETEMA magazines with the above-mentioned article
- Meetings with several companies in the biogas and biomass sector, where the participants discussed different aspects of the project, possible networking activities and the participation in other similar European projects sharing common goals
According to Javier Díaz, the president of the Spanish Association of Energy Valorization of Biomass (Avebiom), the organizer of the event, the Expobiomasa Fair 2019 has been undoubtedly a resounding success and the best of the twelve celebrated editions, thanks to the quality of the offers that the exhibiting companies have brought, the number of professionals that have been received and the generated turnover volume.
On the other hand, in his opinion, being clean and renewable fuels that take advantage of a local raw material, the biomass and biogas can serve as a solution to the needs of domestic and industrial heating at a cheaper and stable price.
