On 23 September 2020, the Pilot Unit for the ValueWaste project, shipped from Belgium and built by NuReSys, arrived at Cañada Hermosa, Murcia (Spain).
INDEREN (Ingeniería y desarrollos renovables), the partner of the EU funded project ValueWaste, together with CETENMA, the project coordinator, and Ferrovial were present during the arrival of the Pilot Unit.
The works and full installation of the pilot plant of the project have started, and the schedule is to have it ready and operative by the first of November.
The Pilot Unit is to be coupled to the anaerobic digester installed by INDEREN, where urban biowaste will be treated. To learn more, read about the delivery and installation of the digester and digestates tanks for the ValueWaste project.
