Life-ANADRY Project – WWTP Waste Treatment Pilot Plant
Works carried out by INDEREN
Within this framework the company INDEREN has made the design, manufacture and installation of the pre-industrial prototype, according to the objectives and requirements of the same.
- A 20 m3 cylindrical reactor with capacity to treat up to 3 tons/day of sewage sludge was manufactured.
- The system works like a dry anaerobic digestion or high concentration of solids.
- During the project, two different temperature conditions (mesophilic and thermophilic) will be studied and the performance in terms of stabilization, sanitation and biogas production will be determined.
- For the correct operation of the process INDEREN has synchronized pumping equipment, boiler start, weighing instruments, temperature and pressure, pH sensors and distribution and stirring systems, under the process control guidelines, through PLC screen prototype.
