The solar farm located in Picassent (Valencia), where INDEREN (Ingeniería y desarrollos renovables) was the installation company, received the visit of about 50 students from a local school with open arms.
The CEO of the INDEREN Company, Ricardo Romaguera, taught a special outreach class on the technological knowledge and benefits of photovoltaic solar energy and self-consumption for the young and adolescent students, along with a guided tour of the 900 KW photovoltaic solar farm.
Throughout the educational event that lasted half a day, he explained in detail the different components of a photovoltaic solar plant, the main functions of the solar modules and the ecological benefits of using such renewable energy.
The young pupils demonstrated a keen interest in the clean and sustainable technology, as well as in their possible applications that will make a big difference in our society and the ecosystem where we live, because the photovoltaic solar energy does not produce any noxious emissions during its operation and can contribute to slowing down climate change and reducing the consumption of fossil fuels.
It is our sincere hope that thanks to this kind of educational events, apart from gaining knowledge of eco-friendly technologies, the young generation will be able to develop the environmental ethics. In this way we could do our bit to work on raising public awareness about the climate crisis and to guarantee a more sustainable future.
